Our collaborative practice began when we, together with miniature artist Mette Johansen published the book Come and Seek with me Elsewhere, with Ellinor Westin’s collected work.

The book took several years to complete. During this journey, we spoke with publishers and other book artists, but ultimately chose to self-publish. This decision led to the creation of SOAP. The book was financed through a crowdfunding campaign and, after publication, also received library support from the Swedish Arts Council. With this platform in place, we decided to continue working together. Mette, however, had other projects in mind (check out her miniatures, they are exquisite), and we parted on good terms.
